Fibre (Psyllium husks)
Fibre is crucial in the diet to help ensure that waste material is moved efficiently & regularly through the bowel so that undigested matter is not left for long periods in the bowel. Psyllium husk fibre & water create a 'gelling effect' which helps prevent waste matter in the colon from drying up, making it easier to pass.
Prebiotics (Inulin)
Inulins (prebiotics) are naturally occurring oligosaccharides which have been shown to increase the amount of friendly bacteria in the colon. An abundance of beneficial bacteria helps your intestinal tract remain healthy by creating conditions that are unfavourable to unfriendly bacteria.
Probiotics (Lactobacilli & Bifidobacteria)
It is now clearly recognised that long term health of the bowels & overall wellbeing can be assisted by maintaining a favourable balance of friendly bacteria in the bowel. Supplementing the diet with beneficial bacteria (probiotics) helps to maintain this balance.
Adult Serving Suggestion
To assist proper bowel funtion - Mix 4 rounded teaspoons (10g) twice daily, with a glass or water or fruit juice, stir well & consume immediately. After 1 - 2 weeks reduce the amount to 2 rounded teaspoons (5g) twice daily mixed in a glass or water or fruit juice.
For healthy bowel maintenance - Mix 2 rounded teaspoons (5g) 1 - 2 times daily, with a glass of water or fruit juice, stir well & consume immediately.
Children 4 - 12 years we recommend using Lifestream BowelBiotics+ For Kids.
General guidelines - Always follow the above serving suggestions with a further glass of water or fruit juice. It is recommended that Lifestream BowelBiotics+ is taken not less than 25 minutes before or after food. It is suitable for everyday use & serving size can be adjusted as required.

Lifestream BowelBiotics+ is 100% natural & contains no polydextrose, maltodextrin, sorbitol, sugar, phytate, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Lifestream BowelBiotics+ contains no wheat, gluten or GM ingredients & is suitable for vegetarians.
Caution
Taking Lifestream BowelBiotics+ without plenty of water could cause choking. If at any time you experience discomfort after taking BowelBiotic+, reduce your serving size.
