The formula in Biologic Bladder Tone contains the Western herb, Horsetail, and the Ayurvedic herb Crateva, both traditionally used to maintain healthy bladder tone, with minerals to assist nerve transmission. Horsetail is a mild diuretic herb with astringent and soothing effects on urinary mucosa. The effects of horsetail in assisting bladder control and frequency of urination may result from its antispasmodic action, which helps to soothe an irritated bladder sphincter.
Crateva nurvala has been used for many centuries to maintain bladder health. It has tonic effects on the bladder and has been clinically shown to decrease residual urine volume. The addition of the celloid minerals, magnesium phosphate and calcium phosphate support the use of the above herbs by assisting with nerve transmissions. The dosage used in BioLogic™ Bladder Tone matches the dosage used in traditional herbal medicine.
Recommended Adult Dosage:
Take two tablets twice daily with meals, until symptom relief is apparent. Allow 4 - 6 weeks to achieve best results. After 2 - 3 months a lower maintenance dose of two tablets daily may be adequate.
