Organic Natural Black Olives are truly unique because they are picked very late in the season and have had enough time to turn black naturally. Most conventionally produced black olives are actually green, placed in a can and then their producers add Ferrous Sulfate (synthetic iron) that artificially turns the olive from green to black. These Black Olives ripen on the branch in the Mediterranean sun for a full, natural taste.
