Non Active Ingredients: Cellulose-Microcrystalline, Croscarmellose Sodium, Sodium Starch Glycollate Type A, Magnesium Stearate, Silica-Colloidal Anhydrous, Povidone, Hypromellose, Macrogol 400, Opadry Y-1-7000 White, Carnauba Wax, Maltodextrin.
Additional Information: Hydroxapitite sourced from cattle. No added sugar, salt, yeast, gluten, starch, wheat, corn, milk derivatives, preservatives, artificial colours and sweeteners.
Recommended Daily Dosage for Adults: Take one to four tablets a day, before a meal or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Medicine Interactions:
- Calcium, Zinc and Magnesium may decrease the absorption and efficacy of some medications.
- CARDIAC GLYCOSIDES – Calcium may increase the effect of these drugs. Seek medical advice.
- CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS - Calcium may decrease the hypotensive efficacy of verapamil and other calcium channel blockers. Seek medical advice.
- Calcium may decrease absorption of biphosphonates, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics and thyroid hormones.
- If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, biophosphonates (an osteoporosis drug), thyroid hormones, methyldopa, carbidopa or levodopa, or penicillamine, separate doses by at least 2 hours. Calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron may decrease absorption of these medications.
