The Oil Garden - Clove Bud 12ml
Clove bud is a pale yellow oil with a sweet, spicy odour.
Botanical Name Eugenia caryophyllata
Part of Plant Used Dried flower buds
Country of Origin Madagascar
Properties
Clove bud may be used in a massage oil for the relief of muscular aches and arthritic and rheumatic pain. Recommended in a vapouriser for the temporary relief of the symptoms of the flu.
Character
The spicy aroma of clove bud is energising and purifying. It also creates a warm, sensual and festive mood.
Skin Care
Clove bud oil is generally not used in skin care.
Precautions
Not to be used on children under two years of age, without medical advice. Use in low dilutions as it may cause dermal irritation.
