• When your child has been sick, encourage them to have short rests during the day and to take it easy until they are fully recovered. A diet that is rich in complex carbohydrates, fresh fruit and vegetables will help your child regain their usual energy levels. • Bed rest, light meals and plenty of clear fluids will help you to recover.
• Avoid other people's smoke.

For the temporary relief of coughs due to bronchial irritation and congestion.

Helpful hints

• Keep your child away from smoky environments.
• Try a steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus or tea tree oil added. Supervise your child closely while doing this, making sure they don't scald themselves with the hot water or steam.
• Encourage your child to rest (although they probably won't go to bed).
• Vitamin C may help reduce the length and severity of your child's symptoms if they don't get enough vitamins in their normal diet.
• Don't worry if your child goes off their food for a couple of days, but do make sure they drink plenty of clear fluids.

What is it for?

Assists in the treatment of stomach ache, upset stomach, indigestion, reflux, diarrhoea and and constipation. If diarrhoea persists for more than 12 hours in children under 2 years, 24 hours in children of 2 - 6 years or 48 hours in children over 6 years, consult your healthcare practitioner.

• To help prevent and relieve constipation, encourage your child to eat fibre rich foods and drink plenty of water.
• Wash hands with soap and water for 30 seconds before preparing food and after going to the toilet. This will help to reduce the spread of bacteria that cause diarrhoea.
• Avoid spicy, rich foods and eat small, frequent meals to help control indigestion and heartburn.
